It's by far the most efficient heal spell in the game, especially when combined with a level of life cleric. 20d6+30 healing over the course of 10 turns, if you go the life cleric rout and cast it with a lvl3 spell slot.
Yea, 1hand crossbows are very strong with thief and sharpshooter bug, but the sword bard build is centered around the opposite--tons of mainhand attacks. im only at start of act 2, but i find it very hard to believe that going from ~4-8 attacks to ~5-9 attacks per round, at the cost of your bonus action, is worth the reduced range and base ....
