It just seems to feel better than an AR. My problem is that the scope is REALLY near-sighted. Everything past about 30 feet is pretty blurry. I'm extremely far-sighted so when I look through the scope without my glasses, I get a pretty good sharp image.

Remember that the Trilux is a "combat" scope, not really a "target" scope. It's meant to help spot badguys at low-light situations. The inverted pin was designed to "uncover" a target when rapid firing rather than covering it up as the rifle moved upwards. They're pretty robust but have fixed optics as a combat scope would normally have.
