It appears that this wire is common to both the ABS and VTM, and when the wire is cut both systems are disabled, turning on the warning lights. $80 part/$85 labor.. With the new alternator I now have a flashing battery light in addition to the 4 other lights. The new alternator in the car is testing the same problem as before.
